Heron Run Apartments
Heron Run is an acquisition and substantial rehabilitation of an existing 40 unit USDA Rural Development community that was originally built in the 1980s. The project underwent a comprehensive rehabilitation in 2012 with a scope of work that included gutting the buildings to provide a completely redesigned floor plan and facades, new kitchens, appliances, mechanical systems and many energy efficiency upgrades. The project exterior enhancements included new landscaping, new paving, a maintenance building and site-wide ADA compliance. The rehab also involved the demolition of an existing office and new construction of a large multi purpose clubhouse that includes a laundry room, meeting room, business center and management office. With excess land, a 50 kW solar PV system was installed to offset the communities electricity consumption.

The project underwent a rehabilitation in 2005 with a focus on bringing residents updated amenities and a modern building design. Sunrise Villas is an acquisition and moderate rehabilitation of an existing 56 unit USDA Rural Development community that was originally built in 1979. The project underwent a rehabilitation in 2007 with a scope of work that included new kitchens, appliances, mechanical systems and many energy efficiency upgrades. The project exterior enhancements included new landscaping, new paving and site-wide ADA compliance. Hollybrook Farms is an acquisition and substantial rehabilitation of an existing 124 unit USDA Rural Development community that was originally built in four phases between the 1979 and 1990. The project underwent a comprehensive rehabilitation in 2008 with a scope of work that included new facades, new kitchens, appliances, mechanical systems and many energy efficiency upgrades. The project exterior enhancements included new landscaping, new paving, a maintenance building and site-wide ADA compliance. The rehab also involved the new construction of a large multi purpose clubhouse that includes a meeting room, business center and management office. Utilizing a Solar Power Purchase Agreement, the site hosts a 100 kW ground mounted solar array to offset common area electricity consumption. Located only one hour from Rehoboth Beach, DE, residents can take advantage of many nearby shopping and dining venues along Route 13.
