REBJ, Inc. (“REBJ”), Green Street Housing, LLC (“GSH”) and Shore Up!, Inc. (“SU”) are pleased to present Brookmeadow Apartments (“Brookmeadow”), an acquisition/substantial rehabilitation of a 67-unit Rural Development multifamily apartment community built in 1991 and 1993. Brookmeadow will undergo a gut-rehabilitation of the current non-elevator stacked unit buildings. The community will serve Chestertown and Kent County families, offering a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom townhomes. Since the community will feature substantial rehabilitation and new construction averaging cost of approximately $125,000 per unit in direct construction costs, allowing the project to feature a high quality of exterior and interior project components and features.
