Description
Springford Gardens is a 38-unit garden style community in Elkton, MD, and was developed with the neighboring School House Apartments. The project is fully subsidized by a mix of USDA Rental Assistance and Section-8 Housing Choice Vouchers. Construction began on or about 7/15/19, and was completed in 2020. The scope of work includes the replacement of all HVAC systems, electrical devices and fixtures, water heaters, plumbing fixtures, lighting, kitchen cabinets, and flooring. Additionally, appliances were replaced appropriately according to their age and condition. The leasing offices was modernized, and solar was installed on the roof. The site was upgraded to conform to current ADA guidelines. All buildings received new energy efficient windows as well as new vinyl siding.
