Description
School House apartments is a 31-unit townhome community comprised of five building located in Port Deposit, MD. The property was originally built in 1981 and financed via the USDA Section 515 Rural Development program. School House Apartments, along with the neighboring Springford Gardens Apartments in Elkton, MD, were awarded non-competitive 4% LIHTC and Tax-Exempt Bond financing in 2017, and both achieved substantial completion in November of 2020. The development effort entailed the modernization of appliances, mechanical equipment, windows, exterior siding, fixtures, accessibility improvement, and community centers and leasing offices.
